Boy have we got some great news to begin the New Year! Bogart 13 for Windows and Linux is released in the Americas. It was released in Europe before the Holidays, and they sold 550 licenses. We tried to get it out to you before the Holidays,  but two floods closed our offices, and we are just now getting back to the new normal.

What it does not say, is that Compoesy has a new feature that will save you time. If you have a big fat file of Full HD or UHD, no longer do you have to Import the whole file and split out the sections you need. You can select IN and OUT points before Import. Until the end of February Compoesy is free with the purchase or Upgrade of Bogart 13 Gold for Windows or the Standalones (Linux). Compoesy should release early in the Spring.

The drunk was going so fast, it lifted his Dad’s car up in the air and flipped it over. It caught on fire, and they did not get out alive.

To warm up the cold and snowy Winter of 2021 we have some new tools to make masterpieces, while making the time fly at home.

For access to all versions of Bogart 6 to 11 with one license you must have a license for Bogart 12. So, do not download and install Bogart 12 until you buy it and have the license number. That way you will not be locked out of your editor while you make connections with your Video Expert Reseller.

Sometimes we have deadlines, and new software usually has a learning curve that slows us down. If the learning curve is bogging you down, just go into the Install Product menu, select Bogart 12, and click on the HIDE button. Bogart 11 will now be active. Hide 11 and 10 will be active, and so on until you get back to the version you are comfortable with. This way you can productively transition to 12 with total knowledge, and your projects stay as your last edit session, regardless of the Bogart version.

When you download and unzip the Bogart 12 Zip Folder, you will find all the manuals from Bogart 9, 10, 11, and 12, as well as some other useful tools. You can also download and install the Bogart 12 Demo to make sure you like it before buying it. The Demo version is separate from the paid version on your hard drive, so having the Bogart 11 or earlier pay version, will not affect either one.

Season Greetings Cassie Cultists!

Bogart 12 for Windows, the Mac, and the Standalones came too late to release in the Americas this year. So, it will release in mid-January for 24% Off. Add-ons will also be 24% off if you buy Bogart 12 at the same time.

Yes, Germany released it, but I would not download it from their website. Bogart 12 will not run without a license, so you would be stuck without an editor until the US Beta Team finishes their testing. If you have computer skills, you can theoretically uninstall Bogart 12, and install the old Bogart 11, but why risk losing your projects and time.

But Bogart 12 is worth the wait and is the best editor the developers have ever produced. I guess we have the quarantines to thank for that. I know our loyal customers were pulling their old systems out of storage for something to do during this awful year, and finally editing family vacation video from years past.

Justin Philpot’s US Beta Team has released the sixth version of Bogart 11.6 for both the Linux and Windows platforms. It is another FREE update of all Bogart versions going back to Bogart 5 on the Linux OS, and Bogart 6 on the Windows OS. The key feature of this release is HD Back-Up Sentry 2, which loads with Bogart. Sentry 2 allows Project back-ups to external USB Hard Drives. You can select which projects to back-up from 1 to 30. You can also transfer entire Projects from Bogart for Linux to Bogart for Windows, and visa versa. Here are the links:
