I am experiencing life with my own company,
having just finished serving as Vice-President of Marketing and Sales with
MacroSystem US in Boulder, Colorado. I joined MacroSystem US as the
Director of Education Sales in North America. I have had the pleasure of
working with a great team in our company and been delighted to meet resellers
and so many friendly customers from all over North America!
Prior to
that that I spent 17 years in the classroom, as teacher of a high school Video
Technology program in California. I really enjoy sharing with folks the power
that video has to share memories, to shape ideas and to simply bring creative
ideas alive!
I
have made presentations at National and Regional Conferences and has led
hands-on video production workshops for classroom teachers in 41 US States, 3
Canadian provinces and in Europe (European Schools Program). I was honored to
serve as a member of the CNN-Turner Learning National Faculty. I am listed in
two volumes of Who's Who in American Education and have testified before a Congressional
Sub-Committee on the importance of Technology in Education.
I really
love teaching, turning others onto new information and helping them further
their abilities to create meaningful projects using digital storytelling.
I enjoy
spending time with my family... have three sons, love to travel with my wife
and videotape those travels. My recreational pursuits include tennis,
snowboarding and Mountain Biking as well as gourmet cooking.
